The family oriented site welcomes families of all ages or couples wanting to enjoy a quiet, pretty site with local attractions no more than a short trip away.
There are a variety of free-range hens and various farm animal residents which can be enjoyed by everyone that stays. There are peacocks, chickens, miniature ponies, horses and goats! North Shire is in an idyllic spot placed perfectly near Saltburn and far enough from the hustle and bustle of tourist based Whitby. The site can accommodate up to 5 hook-ups and up to 10 tents at a time, along with 10 hardstanding pitches for caravans ( including seasonal pitches ) and the story book cottage which houses up to 8 people along with the Shire House which can accommodate up to 6 people for a week’s break.
