Walworth Castle Hotel

Walworth Castle Hotel is a beautiful 12th century castle which has been lovingly converted into a hotel. Nestled in 18 acres of lawns and woodlands, this stunning property is the perfect location for a wedding, an overnight stay, celebration or conference. Some of our bedrooms have four poster rooms located within the castle’s tower. We have a room called the King James suite as King James stayed at Walworth Castle on whilst travelling down from Scotland for his coronation in London. We have so much history as the castle dates back to 1189. To find out more visit our website at www.walworthcastle.co.uk or call in to see us.

Privately owned and operated, you are guaranteed a warm North East welcome, delicious home cooked food and comfortable accommodation. Please contact us directly to make a booking or request a show round. We even have an original dungeon! Our team would be only too happy to show you around our beautiful hotel.
