Amplify: Free Space

Take part in a ‘free space’ for young people aged 14 – 18 in Middlesbrough with a focus around music.

This space is for anyone who would like to attend a gig style environment which is specifically designed for under 18s, meet some amazing local musicians, get advice, share interests, thoughts and ideas on music and culture in a neutral space free of expectations. There is an opportunity for open mic slots too!

On 28th March, there will be a guest performance from Middlesbrough DJ, Recording Engineer and Producer Matthew Innocent who will also be leading the session and offering professional advice.

There is no pressure to do anything at these sessions, just come and hang out with other young people and local professional musicians and other friendly staff. There will be staff supervision at these events, therefore young people are welcome to attend without an adult – however adults are welcome to attend too.

The bar will be open for soft drinks only.
