Ladies’ Day

Join us for a day of racing, fashion, and fun on Ladies’ Day, Saturday 18th June.
Enjoy the glamour of Ladies’ day alongside the excitement of a day at the races.
There will be some great outfits on show in the Betty Leigh Boutique fashion show & some glittering prizes up for grabs in our Best Dressed Lady and Best Hat competitions.
Gents – you’re more than welcome to come racing on Ladies’ Day, it’s open to all.

Facilities

You can’t fail to enjoy the action and excitement of a day at the races when you visit Redcar Racecourse.

Both the Grandstand and Course Family Enclosure have trackside viewing - you can watch as the horses race past you on their way to the winning post.

The Grandstand Enclosure has unrivalled access with the best views – there is no better place to watch the racing action from.

There are no barriers and no dress code so you can go where you like and dress how you want.

The Grandstand Enclosure allows racegoers access to all of the main racecourse facilities, such as viewing the Parade Ring and Winners’ Enclosure, as well as offering excellent views of track from the tiered grandstand steppings.

With access to all Grandstand and Course Enclosure facilities you are able to enjoy the freedom to walk around the racecourse.

Grandstand Enclosure
Choose from a wide range of bars, restaurants and catering outlets - there is something to cover all tastes and budgets:
- the Crow's Nest Restaurant Package offers the ultimate dine and view package of three course meal and a fantastic view of the racing action
- if you'd prefer a light bite why not visit the Voltigeur Restaurant
- Malton & Middleham Bars
- Zetland Bar
- Food Court
- Takeaway vending vans will sell food and snacks.
The Grandstand Enclosure also offers a variety of betting mediums for racegoers, whether you prefer to walk through the betting ring, visit the William Hill Betting Shop, or have a flutter at one of the many Tote windows.

Course Enclosure
Also known as the Family Enclosure.

The Course Enclosure is a great place to for a family day out and & offers value for money family entertainment.

Located in the center of the racecourse racegoers in the Course Enclosure have a good view of the racing and kids can be kept entertained on the playground. We have extensive space and picnic areas offering great value for all the family.

You're welcome to bring a picnic but racegoers are reminded that alcohol is limited to personal consumption only (i.e 4 cans or 1/2 bottle of wine per person, but no Spirits or glass bottles).

Portable / disposable BBQs and Gazebos are not permitted within the racecourse enclosures. Please do not bring them with you as you will be refused entrance.

The Course Family Enclosure offers food and drink facilities including bar facilities and at each meeting there are a number of on-course bookmakers and Tote betting facilities available.

Gates open - 11.00am
First race - 1.38pm
Last race - 5.09pm
These times are provisional and will be confirmed 48hrs before the race meeting once declarations have been finalised.

Prices

Book your admission tickets in advance and save up to 20% off the pay on the day price. Grandstand Enclosure Admission - £15 in advance / £18 on the day Course Enclosure Admission - £6 in advance / £7 on the day Under 18s come racing for free into both Enclosures and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There’s no need to book a ticket for kids under 18yrs old. Concessions available on the day for those aged 65+ and students with a valid student card. Free Carer's Admission - if a disability requires a racegoer to be accompanied by a registered carer, one complimentary admission ticket will be provided for the carer.
